Do Unlockables work after Gears of War 3?...

hey all

so last week came to realise that if you now get your wings in Gears 2 you will get extra content in Gears 3.

Sparing a thought for those who are not always around, (especially during xp events), does anyone know if this would still count if you got your wings AFTER gears 3 is released (or you play it) ???

(for example, if you got "a dish best served cold" on gears1 AFTER you started Gears 2, you still unlocked RAAM on Gears 2 - hope…
