I was wondering who has tried the new horde event and if so what map did you try it on.

I played with a few mates and did wave 1 to 50 on drydock using the bar as the tickers and Corpsers and serepeds cant get you so made it fun even on insane with hard mutators on.

do you get many points? Could we use it as an opportunity to fly up the leaderboards quickly on each level?

Well i was getting between 10000 and 25000 experience every 10 waves as it is also 3x exp this week as well on horde not sure if on other modes but defiantly on horde.

In the waves the locust horde consisted of, Wretches, Tickers, Wild Tickers, Bloodmounts, Corpsers, Serepedes, Reavers. and the boss waves were either Berserkers, Brumark or Reavers. these were what i saw on drydock dont know about over maps

I don't think the XP events effect the leaderboards.  You're score is calculated first and then you're XP is multiplied.  The leaderboards only reflect the original score.

I tried it with some random people last night on Azura and we never saw a single Corpser or Serapede.  Tickers, Wretches, Bloodmounts, Reavers, and don't forget Shriekers for some reason.  We quit after twenty waves because some people left and both boss waves were Brumaks.

What I mean is, if it is easier to go from wave 1 to 50 on insane, then surely you could post some quite good scores. As there are no lambent berserker's and you know exactly what enemies to expect. You could even throw in a few hard mutators and get big big scores.

it was a lot easier to go 1 - 50 on insane we started failing a few waves in between 40 and 50 and that was due to missed actives nothing more

You fancy a go at high score attempt on Friday night?

yeh we can do

Yeah I'm with you now.  It should be fairly easy as long as you pick the right map.  Everything that moves on the ground moves so fast that you will have to have good choke points.  Especially if you use the razorback.  What threw us off last night was the damn shriekers.  How are they considered creepy crawly?
