I think what you're doing wrong is trying to down people for kills and not actually trying to get kills. Don't play KoTH if you struggle to learn how to kill people...play like Guardian or something, cause then it teaches you to stay alive and how to work for kills...

your doing good if you are finding the time to down enemies. It shows that you are reading the match well.

 

Try warzone if you find this is true. As reading each round is probably the most important thing. 

 

On King of the Hill it can be a bit chaotic at the best of times. Try keeping your head. If they are on a particular weapon think about what would hurt them the most. Are they using lancers a lot? try a boltok. Are they shotgunning loads.. then use a lancer and work with your team mates as much as possible.

thanks for the response now but ive been playing gears 3 beta alot and its really fun so im gunna stick with that till gow 3.
